AMAZING FACTS ABOUT BLACK HOLES
A black hole is high strength gravity in a region of space time, that means no particles or even light particles cannot escape it. The boundary of the region from which cannot escape is possible is called the Event Horizon.
Black holes can be big or small. Scientist's guess the smallest black holes are as small as just one atom. These black holes are very mini but have the mass of a large mountain.
Another kind of black holes are called "Stellar". Its mass may be up to 20 times more than the mass of the sun. There may be many stellar mass black holes in Earth's galaxy. We know that Earth's galaxy is called the "Milky Way".
The largest black holes are called "Supermassive". These black holes may be have masses that are more than 1 million suns together. Scientists have found proof that every large galaxy contains a supermassive block hole at its centre.
Scientists guess the smallest black holes formed when the universe began. Stellar black holes are formed when the center of a very big star falls in upon itself. The supermassive black holes are formed at the same time as the galaxy they're in.
